____________
3 Big Ideas, Tips or Strategies for this week
1. Key to Progress
To achieve personal growth, focus on small daily habits:
- meditation
- journaling
- reading
To feel stagnant, focus on grand accomplishments.
- career milestones
- financial success
- social status
Focusing on small daily habits is the key to progress, while fixating on grand accomplishments can lead to frustration and dissatisfaction.
2. Top 3 Neglected but Important Areas
Here are the top three neglected but most important areas in life:
Physical health: Many people neglect their physical health, focusing instead on work and other responsibilities. However, good physical health is essential for overall well-being and can have a positive impact on mental health, energy levels, and productivity.
Mental health: Mental health is often overlooked, but it is just as important as physical health. Neglecting mental health can lead to stress, anxiety, depression, and other emotional and behavioral issues.
Personal relationships: Strong personal relationships with family, friends, and loved ones are a vital part of a fulfilling life. However, many people neglect their relationships in favor of work or other pursuits. Neglecting personal relationships can lead to feelings of isolation and loneliness.
It’s important to prioritize self-care, personal development and other areas that can be neglected in everyday life.
3. Failure and AirBnB
When Airbnb first started, it was a small startup with a unique idea for allowing people to rent out their homes to travelers. However, the company faced many challenges in its early days, including resistance from landlords, legal issues, and a lack of trust from potential customers.
Despite these setbacks, the founders of Airbnb did not give up. Instead, they used these failures as opportunities to learn and improve. They began to focus on building trust with customers by implementing new safety measures and by offering a guarantee for every booking. They also worked to address legal challenges by lobbying for new laws and regulations that would support their business model.
Through this process of trial and error, Airbnb grew to become one of the most successful companies in the sharing economy. Today, it’s one of the most valuable companies in the world, with millions of users and listings in over 200 countries. This story shows how persistence and willingness to learn from mistakes and take risks can lead to success even in the face of challenges and obstacles.

2 Stories, Quotes, or Case-Studies for this week
1. PM Modi’s Problem-Solving Strategy
Focus on decisive leadership, long-term vision and leveraging technology for efficient implementation.
2. Sully’s Quick Decision
On January 15, 2009, US Airways Flight 1549 took off from New York’s LaGuardia Airport bound for Charlotte, North Carolina. Shortly after takeoff, the plane struck a flock of geese, disabling both engines. The pilot, Captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger, had to make a quick decision on how to handle the emergency situation.
With no time to waste, Captain Sullenberger quickly assessed the situation and realized that there was not enough time or altitude to return to the airport. Instead, he made the quick decision to land the plane on the Hudson River, a risky but ultimately successful maneuver that saved the lives of all 155 passengers and crew on board.
This incident is often referred to as “Miracle on the Hudson” and it is a powerful example of the importance of quick decision making in emergency situations. Captain Sullenberger’s quick thinking and decisive action, saved many lives and it could be a great story to drive home the importance of being prepared, informed and able to make quick and accurate decisions in a crisis situation.
